outline:
install software
translating datasheets (pin locations, breakout wires)
eagle control panel
- create project
- create schematic
eagle schematic
- turn on grid, units
- place parts, all about packages
- name and label
- zoom
- move and rotate
- duplicate and delete
- groups
- nets and junctions
connect up!
eagle schematic
- linked to schematic
- layers (dimension, copper, silk)
- placement (clearances, air wires)
- route (width, bend, layer)
- split and moving nets
- personalize (text, image, wire designs)
print
- export image, png 300dpi (only show needed layers)
- layout multiple copies in photoshop
- print onto dull side of blue transfer film
adhere
- cut copper and transfer film to size
- clean copper (scour pad and soap qand water)
- iron dull side to copper (medium heat)
- peel (if it lifts black, do more ironing!)
bath
- prepare chemicals (read labels!)
- simmer water in large pan on stove (do not boil)
- place chemicals in plastic tray, tray on top of pan
- place copper in tray
- agitate occasionally, copper will take 15-30 mins to fall off
- remove when satisfied, wash
finishing and assembly
- scour with high grit sand paper to remove black
- drill holes
- place parts and solder
